College

College is a stressful time for every 17-18 year old that chooses that path. Some consider going to college as growing up and finally becoming an adult. You finally have to make decisions for yourself and develop new "grown-up" skills such as time management and work ethic. I had the opportunity to play football in college with scholarships from the Air Force Academy and North West Missouri State. After talking with my parents about how I felt personally and with other friends that are currently playing collegiate sports, I decided to attend Kansas State and to become a normal student. This decision was a hard one, but I believe it was the right choice for me. After I made that decision, it came down to either Kansas State or the University of Kansas both of which were great schools. After visiting Kansas State twice my junior year, it just felt like home. I'm excited to start my future off strong by working hard in school and finding a career that fits me.
